Baer Electric Inc. ("Baer Electric", "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through baerelectric.ca, why, and what we do with it. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
When you send a quote request, we collect what you type into the form: your name, phone number, email address, community, the service you're interested in and your project details. We don't ask for more than we need to answer you.
Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and troubleshooting. Our form also uses your IP address briefly to limit spam submissions.
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and doesn't track you across other websites.
How we use it
- To reply to your request, quote your project and schedule work.
- To keep records of work we've done for you, including warranty information.
- For Gemstone Lights installs, to register your product warranty with Gemstone Lights, as their warranty requires.
We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we don't add you to marketing lists.
Who else sees it
Form submissions are emailed to our business inbox. Your information is processed by the service providers we rely on to run the business — our website host and our email provider — and, for Gemstone installs, by Gemstone Lights for warranty purposes. These providers may store data outside Saskatchewan or Canada.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and job records for as long as we need them to serve you, honour warranties and meet our legal and tax obligations, and then delete them.
