Two crafts, one crew

Your electrician and your lighting installer.

Most permanent-lighting installers aren't electricians. We are. Blair has been wiring homes, farms and businesses around Goodsoil for 25+ years, so the power behind your lights is done to code by the same person who hangs the track.

48V

Gemstone Lights · Technology

New power. Same beautiful light.

Gemstone Lights has replaced its previous 12V system with a new 48V track lighting platform designed in-house. It's a Class 2 certified system that complies with the National Electrical Code and Canadian Electrical Code, includes overcurrent and short-circuit protection, and lets installs be completed up to 30% faster. Gemstone says its future products will be built on it.

How the 48V system works

Invisible by day

Flip the switch on your whole house.

Gemstone's track mounts under the eaves and is colour-matched to your trim. From the street, you see the house. After dark, you see the lights.

  • Track colour-matched to your trim from 150+ colours
  • Same house, same tripod: warm white, Christmas and New Year
  • The power side wired properly by a licensed electrician

We couldn't be happier with the work Baer Electric did installing our Gemstone Lights! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and professional. He was punctual, courteous, and incredibly knowledgeable about the product and the installation process. The final result is stunning — our home looks amazing both day and night. What really stood out was Baer Electric's attention to detail and commitment to making sure everything was perfect before finishing the job. He also took the time to walk us through how to use the app and customize our lighting, which we really appreciated.
