URL: https://baerelectric.ca/gemstone-lights/ Last reviewed: 2026-10-03 Gemstone Lights was founded in Calgary in 2016 to build outdoor lights that could survive prairie winters and never have to come down. Today the lineup covers rooflines, yards, patios and decks, all running on one app with free Autopilot calendars and no monthly fees. Most permanent-lighting installers are lighting companies. We're electricians first. That means the power behind your lights — outlets, control box placement, and any wiring the install needs — is planned and done properly by the same people who hang the track. We'll also travel past our usual service area for a Gemstone install. If you're outside the Goodsoil–Meadow Lake region, ask anyway. ## Products and topics - [Permanent Roofline Lights](https://baerelectric.ca/gemstone-lights/residential/): Colour-matched track lighting along your home's eaves. - [Permanent Christmas & Holiday Lights](https://baerelectric.ca/gemstone-lights/holiday-lighting/): Christmas, Halloween, Canada Day and game nights — automatically. - [Commercial Lighting](https://baerelectric.ca/gemstone-lights/commercial/): Track, flood and strip lighting for businesses and venues. - [Landscape & Flood Lights](https://baerelectric.ca/gemstone-lights/landscape-flood-lights/): Colour-changing uplights for trees, facades and signs. - [Patio String Lights](https://baerelectric.ca/gemstone-lights/patio-lights/): Smart bistro-style string lights for pergolas and patios. - [Deck & Stair Lights](https://baerelectric.ca/gemstone-lights/deck-lights/): Flush-mounted lights for deck boards, stairs and posts. - [The 48V Power System](https://baerelectric.ca/gemstone-lights/48v-power-system/): Gemstone's new platform: Class 2 safety, faster installs. - [App & Smart Home](https://baerelectric.ca/gemstone-lights/app-smart-home/): Autopilot, 14,000+ patterns, timers, Alexa and Google. ## Why Gemstone - **Millions of colours, one true warm white:** Every light has red, green and blue plus a dedicated warm-white diode, so the everyday white looks like real warm light — not a pink-tinged mix. - **Hidden by day:** The roofline track is colour-matched to your trim from 150+ colours and shaped to your soffit.
