Most people set it up once and barely touch it: warm white at sunset every night, Christmas on Autopilot in December, team colours on game night. When you do want to play, the app goes deep.

The Hub2 controller connects over dual-band Wi-Fi or Ethernet, keeps a Bluetooth fallback if your internet drops, runs up to 4,096 lights from four data outputs and stores 64 timers. Timers support sunrise and sunset with adjustable offsets and keep working offline.

We set up the app with you at the end of every install, build a few favourite scenes together, and register your warranty while we're there.

### Can more than one person control the lights?

### I have an older Gemstone Hub. Can I upgrade?

Gemstone says existing systems are compatible with Hub2, sometimes with a minor wiring change. The original Hub app isn't compatible with Hub2, so you'd move to the new Gemstone Lights app.
